These teenagers face many challenges and daily pressures at school. Many of their friends from school or in the community have attended marches for political reasons. However, the young women in the pictures below decided to march through Camp Cody for God’s unfailing love and grace. They are filled with joy for their salvation and decided to celebrate the miraculous gift we receive in Christ in this way! Their joy gave them courage to do something! They marched to take a stand for God, to start somewhere.
Our prayer is for their love for Christ to spread and lead to many more life-changing experiences. We are reminded of our freedom in Christ and inspired by their contagious faith. Their courage to act calls us higher in our faith and spurs us on to take stands for Christ and his love for each of us!
“For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.” – 2 Corinthians 5:14-15
